Nenad Malesevic (Sarajevo, 1981) graduated from the Academy of Arts (University of Banjaluka) in 2004, from the Graphic Arts Department. He completed his Master studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade, specializing in Theory of Arts and Medium of Interdisciplinary Studies in 2008. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade.
He cooperated with the Center for Visual Communication Protok from Banjaluka (2005-2008). He was a recipient of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship in 2006. The University of Banjaluka awarded him the Golden Plaque in 2004. He deals with theory of art. He founded the studio for the art design “OUR” in 2011, together with Miodrag Manojlovic. Since 2012 he has been employed at the School of Computing in the field of graphic media design.
He had solo exhibitions: Unexpected – The City Gallery, Pozega (2017); Documents: Introduction to the study of Discontinuance – The Modern Art Gallery, Subotica (2016), The Photon Gallery, Ljubljana and the Artget Gallery, Belgrade (2015), and MSU (The Museum of Modern Art), Republic of Srpska, Banjaluka (2014); Storyboard – Exhibition hall of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska, Banjaluka and the Dupleks Gallery, Sarajevo (2010) with Miodrag Manojlovic; A Time of Renewal: the Banski Dvor Cultural Center, Banjaluka and the Gallery of the Cultural Center “Studentski grad”, Belgrade, 2007
He took part in various group exhibitions, film and video festivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, France, Italy, Georgia, Great Britain and the Netherlands.
