Students learn the history of graphics and graphic media from classical printing tools and procedures to computer preparation and printing. They study the concepts of industrialised graphic production. They learn about the characteristics of high, intaglio, straight, screen and digital printing. They are informed about the classification and characteristics of book design. Through practical classes (design of stamps, design and standardisation of the forms of logo use, etc), they are trained to combine typographic, photographic and illustrational forms in the domain of utilitarian graphics.
