Music Production 1 is designed as the introduction to the first stage of music production, i.e. an introduction to dealing with sound recording in a studio. Teaching is based on demonstration and explanation of various recording processes, as well as on recording exercises done by the students. In a soundproof room (which is equipped with the most modern materials for sound absorption), the students are trained for various recording methods and microphone settings – in order to find the best solutions- according to the nature, type and number of instruments. Additionally, students are introduced to other modern sound recording techniques, to MIDI systems and standards of recording, modern studio equipment, types, installation and use of microphones, as well as to the overall preparation of the studio for sound recording.
